Bap: onomatopoeic slang for a sharp, percussive hit—especially the crisp snare in boom‑bap hip‑hop; also, as BAP/B.A.P.S., “Black American Princess(es),” a dated, sometimes pejorative label for an affluent, spoiled Black woman.
